Neighbor from hell erects TRAIN horn to roof of his house and blasts it three times a day amid ongoing petty dispute

A so-called ‘neighbor from hell’ has mounted a deafening train horn to the roof of his home and blasts it up to three times a day amid an ongoing neighbor dispute.

Gary Boyadzhian, 50, has admitted to blasting the horn daily to get the attention of LAPD.

Neighbors on a street in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, say they’ve been enduring the blasts for months with no end in sight.

‘I know it’s not fair to my neighbors, absolutely,’ Boyadzhian told ABC7. ‘If I were in their shoes, I would complain too. It is loud. It is disturbing.’

Boyadzhian says he sounds both his home alarm and a set of three ear-splitting train horns nearly every day, sometimes for several minutes at a time.

‘I need help. I don’t know how else to cry out for it. That’s why I’m setting off the sirens,’ he said. ‘I’m crying out for help.’

Boyadzhian has not disclosed what the dispute is about but neighbors are fed up.

There are signs posted across the neighborhood, urging residents to call police when they hear the blasts.

One resident, who didn’t want her name used, told the outlet that police rarely arrive in time to catch Boyadzhian in the act.

‘It makes the windows rumble,’ she said. ‘He does it and then he stops, and by the time (the police) get out here 40 minutes later… they can’t do anything. They’ve been out here three days in a row.’

Other residents described the sound as ‘piercing’ and ‘horrific’ to FOX11.

‘All of a sudden, you know, this nut, first he turns on his house alarm and he has that gone on and on and on. And then periodically he has the horn,’ debbie, a neighbor, told FOX11. ‘And it’s so freaking loud.’

‘My brother, he works at night. He goes to bed, so he’s trying to sleep. And this idiot’s over here. And literally it goes on for sometimes hours.’

‘You’ll see him out in the yard at midnight with a light on his forehead, working in the yard, cutting the tree in the dark,’ she added.

‘I mean. He’s a real nut.’

So far, he had not received a citation from police because they have never come in time to catch him in the act.

LAPD officers have reportedly told the neighbors they need to witness the noise firsthand to issue a citation.

‘Regarding the location, we are in talks with the city attorney about options, as well as using other department resources to assist,’ LAPD’s Van Nuys division said.
