Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley’s home is broken into as police launch investigation

Philadelphia Eagles superstar Saquon Barkley‘s home was invaded in the early hours of Saturday morning, police have announced.
According to Brendon Brightman of NBC Philadelphia, Barkley’s property in the Malvern section of Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, was broken into at around 5am, with the suspects fleeing before officers arrived.
The Super Bowl-winning running back and his family were inside their home at the time of the incident, but no one was injured, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office said.
One suspect is said to have entered the property, with police searching for a large white SUV which may have been involved in the break-in.
However, they insist the SUV was not the only vehicle involved.
‘We know there’s more than one, but we’re still trying to determine how many were involved, said Capt. Tyler Moyer of the Tredyffrin Township Police Department.

It is unclear if the suspects managed to take anything from Barkley’s home before making their getaway.
‘We are asking the public to help us identify those responsible by checking any home security cameras for suspicious activity in the area around 5:00am,’ the District Attorney’s Office added.
‘If you saw anything unusual or have video that may assist investigators, please contact the Tredyffrin Township Police Department immediately.’
Barkley has two children with fiancée Anna Congdon; daughter Jada, 8, and son Saquon Jr, 3.
The NFL hero has been engaged to Congdon since early 2025, eight years after they began dating.
‘I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have had in my career without the help of her,’ Barkley said after unveiling their engagement in February of last year.
‘She always has my back, not only in football but throughout life… as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.’
