Victory was not achieved by work and weapons alone, but by faith in God and the nation after exhausting all elements of strength, including preparation, training, and planning. Muslim and Christian clerics had a role on the front in motivating and supporting the morale of the soldiers, and this role continues throughout history in the recent war against terrorism. In recent days, preaching convoys from Al-Azhar and the Endowments have continued throughout Sinai to confront extremism and introduce true religion. The last of these convoys was days before the issuance of this issue and accompanied “Rosa Al-Youssef” On her tour.
In the framework of preparations for holding the openings of a number of major projects in Sinai and celebrating the glorious October victory, “Rosa Al-Youssef” met with A delegation of scholars from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the Ministry of Endowments, and the Islamic Research Academy are touring throughout the land of Sinai, within the valleys and remote villages in the cities of Nakhal, Al-Hassanah, central Sinai, the cities of Sheikh Zuweid, Al-Arish, and Al-Masa’id.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Shafi’i, Director of the Guidance Department at the Ministry of Endowments, says Sinai is a dear part of the land of this nation, and on the occasion of the entry of the month of victory, October 1973, the tenth of Ramadan, preaching convoys will be increased to this blessed spot, indicating that preaching convoys continue throughout the year.
He said: The convoys It has the best preachers and imams in the Ministry of Endowments, and we set out under the guidance of Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, to deliver the Friday sermon, sit with the youth and elders from the Sinai Bedouins, and answer many of the jurisprudential questions and fatwas that come to us from the youth.
He added that the convoys’ main goal is to correct misconceptions and spread the true religion, especially since the people of Sinai have a special nature.
Noting that The Islamic Research Academy at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif is sending preaching convoys, in cooperation with the Endowments, to the border and remote areas of Egypt, in a step aimed at combating extremist ideas and protecting society from intellectual deviations, under the guidance of His Eminence the Grand Imam Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar and Minister of Endowments, Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, The North Sinai convoy aims to combat extremist ideas, achieve societal awareness, warn citizens of intellectual and behavioral deviations, address societal problems from which Egyptians suffer, and provide solutions derived from the directives of Islam, especially since we focus on effective construction. For young people, with the aim of preparing a generation capable of taking responsibility and participating in the development of society, especially in beloved Sinai.
