President Sisi affirms Egypt’s commitment to continuing to strengthen the strategic partnership with Germany

Confirm President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is committed to Egypt to continue strengthening the strategic partnership with Germany, especially in the political, military and security fields, in addition to economic and investment cooperation, and in the field of education and transportation, with a focus on the manufacturing and energy sectors, including new and renewable energy.
This came during President El-Sisi’s reception, today, Sunday, of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in the presence of Engineer Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, and Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs. And immigration and affairs of Egyptians abroad. For his part, the German President expressed his congratulations to Mr. President and the Egyptian people on the occasion of the opening of the museum, stressing that this cultural achievement reflects the greatness of Egyptian history and Egypt’s established position in the record of humanity. He also expressed his pride in participating in this prominent cultural event.
President Sisi stressed On the importance of building on the momentum produced by the first Egyptian-European summit, as it is a pivotal step in the path of growing cooperation between Egypt and the European Union.
The official spokesman added that the meeting also discussed ways of cooperation in confronting the phenomenon of illegal immigration and organizing the transfer of labor, in addition to discussing developments in a number of joint infrastructure projects, where it was agreed to continue coordination and joint work, in a way that meets the aspirations of the two peoples towards achieving sustainable development and common prosperity.

The two presidents stressed that the two-state solution is the only way to achieve permanent peace and stability in the Middle East region, as the German president stressed, in this regard, that successive German governments sought to advance the two-state solution.
