Private photos of Elvis and Priscilla Presley are unveiled ahead of auction… including intimate snaps from couple’s 1967 Las Vegas wedding

Photos from Priscilla and Elvis Presley’s 1967 wedding and rare snaps from their early days as parents are going up for auction with an estimated value of $15,000.
Danish auction house Bruun Rasmussen is selling off a black and white album of 30 silver gelatine pictures, plus three private color snapshots from Graceland, Memphis, Tennessee.
The Kodak Ektacolor 20 RC color shots depict Elvis and Priscilla in the summer the year after they said ‘I do’ and their baby daughter, Lisa Marie, who was born in 1968.
One of the three color photographs bears a handwritten note explaining, ‘Elvis going fast to scare mother’ written in black ballpoint pen, on the reverse.
‘The latter three photographs are most likely one-of-a-kind,’ according to the auction website.
They were originally gifted to Priscilla’s mother and stepfather to commemorate their nuptials and the album has been passed down through the Beaulieu family throughout the years.

Priscilla was raised by stepfather US Air Force Captain Joseph Beaulieu and her mother, Anna.
The family was stationed at Wiesbaden Air Base in south-west Germany while Elvis was a private at the nearby Ray Barracks.
Priscilla’s parents first met Elvis, who was already a global music star, in September 1959.
Their daughter was 14 and Elvis was 24 years old. By the time she was 17 her parents agreed to let her move to Graceland with Elvis in 1963.
The couple tied the knot on May 1, 1967 at the Aladdin Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada but split by 1972.
Snaps annotated with that date show the couple exchanging rings, cutting the cake and feeding it to each other.
Joseph died in 2018 and Anna in 2021. The album comes from relatives living in Denmark and has not previously been put up for sale.

The front cover features a relief printed text in gold with the date of their ceremony and signed off, ‘From the Colonel.’ Honorary Colonel Tom Parker was Elvis’s controversial manager from 1955 to 1977 who was born in the Netherlands.
It’s believed around 10 similar black and white albums were gifted to other people.
‘Elvis and Priscilla Presley are undoubtedly one of the most iconic couples of the 20th century,’ Ludvig Hjorth, a specialist at Bruun Rasmussen, said in a statement.
‘And it is extraordinary to be able to present such rare and personal documentation of their life together.’
The auction opens on Monday at 7.50pm local time in Denmark.
Priscilla, now 81, made a rare appearance in August to attend The Official Ramones 50th Anniversary Tribute at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.
Prior to that, the businesswoman stepped out in Majorca, Spain, in July.
In March, she visited Denmark’s Elvis Memphis Museum dedicated to the King of Rock and Roll.

Priscilla also has a son, Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, 39, whom she shares with Marco Garibaldi.
In May, Priscilla said during a speaking event with her son Navarone in Las Vegas that the death of her only daughter ‘separated’ the Presley family.
Lisa Marie left behind daughters Harper and Finley Lockwood, 17, whom she shared with ex-husband Michael Lockwood, 64, as well as 37-year-old daughter Riley Keough, whom she had with ex-husband Danny Keough, 61.
Lisa Marie and Danny’s son, Benjamin Keough, died by suicide at age 27 in July 2020.
Priscilla said her granddaughters are now 18 and lead independent lives: ‘They have their boyfriends and, you know, do their thing.’
Despite their famously fraught relationship, Priscilla and Lisa Marie were together just days before the star’s death as they attended the Golden Globes to watch Austin Butler’s big win for the 2022 biographical drama Elvis.
