Ranking the best PFW celeb street style, heatwave edition Menswear

Amid the Paris heatwave, stars are still turning up to menswear shows in their finest. Is it always practical? Perhaps not. Will an OTT ensemble inevitably become internet fodder before looping back around as a meme? Absolutely. Take Heated Rivalry’s leather-clad Connor Storrie at the Saint Laurent menswear show, seated beside Madonna and Charli xcx, who were both puffing on cigarettes. The internet had a field day – not just because the Queen of Pop lit up in 35-degree heat, but because Storrie had slipped into fetish boots and a PVC trench for the occasion. A serve, yes, but quite literally a steamy situation. Meanwhile, Charli was a femme fatale in a red lace number from the house – everyone else, take notes.

EsDeeKid’s incognito look at the 424 show wasn’t exactly built for a heatwave either, but at least it got the job done. With rising temps raging on in the French capital, we did what any reasonable person would do: rank the celebrities who dressed like they know what a heatwave is, and those (poorly) raw-dogging the blazing heat.

10 for effort, but the top of the barometer on the sweating buckets scale.

Not quite on the scale of a PVC trench, but we’re willing to bet it’s moist under that face mask.

A suit jacket and a shirt with closed toe shoes screams perspiration.

Wearing a trench, suit, shirt and lighting a ciggie? We have many questions.

For a suit this sharp, it’s worth the inevitable pit stains.

The rolled up cuffs say it all.

Simz’ voluminous skirt and 070 Shake’s loose-cut shirt are headed in the right direction.

We’re onboard with the sunglasses, and bonus points for the shorts.

Another shorts situ is a green flag.

Since when did the pop icon follow the rules?

The only way to do a heatwave, tbh.
