Sam Pang Warns Celebs Ahead Of Spicy 2025 Logies Monologue

Sam Pang has teased what to expect from his upcoming (likely roast-filled) monologue at the 2025 TV Week Logies — and oh boy, brace yourselves!

ICYMI, the comedian is taking on hosting duties for Aussie TV’s night of nights for a third consecutive year, and in anticipation of the ceremony — taking place on Sunday — Pang said attendees should prepare for some spicy jabs.

“If someone gives me the stink eye, it’s more about them,” Pang said on the Fifi, Fev & Nick radio show this week.

While Pang did not reveal who might be source of a potential stink eye, there’s certainly ample material to draw from given what a whirlwind year it’s been for Aussie TV — from the cancellations of The Project and Q&A to the infamous axing of Jonathan LaPaglia and the perpetual laughing stock that is Married At First Sight

We love MAFS, but it’s certainly no Australian Story

Speaking of the reality series, Pang confirmed that the 2025 cast of MAFS will be attending the Logies, despite previous rumours that the ceremony had banned any potential wine-throwers.

Those rumours were further fuelled when former castmate Jamie Marinos said she wasn’t attending this year’s Logies, but Pang has since put to bed that speculation.

“I can give you the scoop that there’s been a change of heart this year,” Pang said of organisers’ MAFS guest lists.

“I’ve told everyone when they see [the MAFS cast], they can quickly say hello – and quickly tell them if you’re having the chicken or the fish!”

While it remains to be seen who exactly will rock up from MAFS, we do know the show will be represented by experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla.

Whatever the case, we should expect Pang to include at least some swipes, since last year’s monologue saw him poke fun at everyone from Karl Stefanovic to Sonia Kruger and Rolf Harris

The event kicks off at 7pm this Sunday (August 3), with Ally Langdon, Hamish Blake, Julia Morris, Lisa Millar, Lynne McGranger, Poh Ling Yeow and Sonia Kruger up for the shiniest award that is the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality.

Sam, everyone is fair game except for Poh! Australia’s sweetheart mustn’t be touched!
