Shailene Woodley and beau Lucas Bravo show rare PDA on camping trip… five months after taking romance public

Shailene Woodley and boyfriend Lucas Bravo showed rare PDA as the couple gave a glimpse into their new romance.

The 33-year-old actress was first linked to the Emily In Paris hunk, 37, in March, with the pair going Instagram official the following month.

Lucas — who has been filming the upcoming fifth season of his hit Netflix series — jumped to his Instagram page on Thursday to share a few snippets from a memorable camping trip with Shailene and their close pals. 

In one image, the French actor could be seen cozying up next to the her as they lounged in the back of a Land Rover.

The Big Little Lies actress sweetly wrapped her arms around Lucas as they both flashed cheerful smiles. 

Another picture seemingly showed Lucas sitting toward the back entrance of the car as he lovingly rested his hand on Shailene’s leg while she sat across from him.

Lucas and Shailene continued to flash winning grins as two of their friends joined them in the back of the car.

He went on to share additional snippets from the road trip adventure with his 2.1 million followers, including a photo of an adorable dog sitting in the back with them. 

The orange sun could be seen setting in the far distance as the group drove through a quiet area of open land. 

After they got out of the Land Rover, Lucas snapped a few photos of the rest of the group watching the sun set. 

Shailene was pictured wearing a pair of light-blue denim shorts and a tan sweater as she carried on a lighthearted conversation with her pals.

After a long day, the group made their way indoors, and some of them could be seen lounging on the floor or on a comfy couch inside a spacious room. 

Lucas also included a silhouette of one of the women — possibly Shailene — as she turned around with the last light of day in the background. 

In the caption of his post, the Ticket To Paradise star simply wrote to his fans: ‘Kintsugi Moon.’ 

Shailene and Lucas were first linked in March as they cozied up together on a stroll through the streets of Paris. 

Then, in April, the lovebirds went Instagram official as the actor shared photos of himself and Shailene venturing on a romantic desert trip. 

The stars had a blast as they visited Slab City in California, before stopping by the Stagecoach Music Festival. 

In one image, the pair could be seen sitting on the ground at the bustling event as the actress took a quick selfie.

Another picture was taken to show a close up as Shailene and Lucas sweetly held hands while exploring the festival grounds. They also embraced as they had the chance to meet Sophie Hawley-Weld from the musical duo SOFI TUKKER. 

The Divergent actress made another appearance in the French actor’s carousel of snaps as they stopped by Salvation Mountain. 

Lucas broke his silence on the budding relationship in April in an interview with People.

‘Yeah, I’m really happy,’ Lucas declared while attending the Broadway opening of Good Night, And Good Luck, which stars George Clooney.

Shailene and Lucas were most recently seen earlier this month, when the actress visited her boyfriend on the set of Emily In Paris. 

The actor is known for portraying the character of chef Gabriel in the Netflix series, which is in the midst of filming its upcoming fifth season. 

In photos obtained by People, Lucas was seen draping his arm over Shailene’s shoulders as he pulled her into a loving embrace. 

Back in 2022, Shailene split from her fiancé Aaron Rodgers, who recently revealed that he had tied the knot earlier this year in a private ceremony. 

Lucas was previously linked to another actor in the past, but their identity has not been revealed.

As he steps back into the shoes of his character Gabriel, the actor previously admitted that the role had become ‘not fun’ while talking to IndieWire last year. 

The star hinted at the time that he may not return for season five due to his contract ending after the fourth season.

Of the show, Lucas said, ‘It’s a comedy, everybody is having fun around me, everybody is jumping around, and I’m just slowly sinking into God knows what.’

In regard to the actor’s comments about his character, Emily In Paris creator Darren Star shared his thoughts during an interview with Deadline in June. 

He stated that it had been a ‘misunderstanding’ while adding, ‘I think he was never intending not to come back.’ 

After confirming that Lucas was back for the fifth season, Darren then gave a little insight as to what fans can expect with Lily Collins’ character Emily and her storyline. 

‘Her love life is always complicated. We have Marcello, Lucas Bravo is going to be back this season, so we have some interesting, surprising developments in terms of her love life.’
