It appears the unexpected (but super hawt) pairing that is Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau is legit after paparazzi snapped pics of the pair having a steamy snog sesh on the popstar’s yacht.

Following her public divorce from Orlando Bloom — where she made many hints about the split during the Aussie leg of her world tour — Perry was back in the headlines over a rumoured romance between her and former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.
Whispers of a possible relationship between the pair first kicked off in late July, after TMZ shared footage of the unlikely duo having an intimate dinner at Montreal’s Le Violon.

Rumours of a romance were further fuelled when Katy Kats (Perry’s stans, BTW) spotted the former PM at Perry’s Montreal concert alongside his daughter, Ella-Grace.

While the pair have remained tight-lipped about their situation, sneaky paparazzi have managed to snap some pics that could confirm their current relationship status.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail, Perry and Trudeau are seen “kissing and cuddling” on the artist’s 24-metre yacht — named the Caravelle — off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.

According to one witness, the pair “started making out” after the yacht parked next to a “small public whale-watching boat”.
“I didn’t realise who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm, and I immediately realised it was Justin Trudeau,” the witness told the publication.
At the time of writing, Perry and Trudeau have not ~officially~ hard-launched their relationship on IG or the red carpet, but I truly think that these steamy pics say everything.
While this has to be the MOST random pairing ever, I’m honestly here for it!!! And although a lot of people have their thoughts about Perry, I cannot help but feel bad for her when it comes to love, especially because of *that* shituation with Russell Brand and now, Orlando Bloom.
As for the tea on Trudeau, the former PM split from his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, back in 2023.
Again, still a random couple, but I’m rooting for Perry in her quest for love.
