Sydney’s streets are rocked by second fatal shooting in 48 hours – as a man in his 20s is ambushed by gunman while sitting in his car

Another shooting death has rocked suburban Sydney after a man was gunned down in the city’s north west on Tuesday night.
The man, understood to be aged in his 20s, was shot while he sat in a car outside a residence on Regiment Grove in Winston Hills.
He suffered chest wounds and was rushed by ambulance to hospital where he died.
Police said the man has yet to be identified.
A crime scene has been established and detectives have commenced an investigation into the incident.
A teenage neighbour, who saw the man’s body being lifted into an ambulance, said they were in their bedroom when emergency services arrived.
‘I was in my room, and I saw red and blue flashing lights reflected on my neighbour’s house,’ they told The Sydney Morning Herald.
‘So I ran downstairs, and I told my dad, and we went outside to see what was happening.
‘We saw a whole lot of police cars and ambulances, and I saw a man on a stretcher being carried up into an ambulance, and he had been shot in the chest.’
It is the second shooting to rock Sydney within three days after gunmen opened fire in front of a busy Sydney pub during the dinner rush.
