The Odyssey
If you were going to place an early bet on which film will win big at the 2027 Academy Awards, it would be this one. Besides its absolutely stacked cast (Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya and Charlize Theron), the epic fantasy action film is among the most expensive of Christopher Nolan’s career with an estimated budget of USD $250 million. Sheesh.

Heartstopper Forever
Heartstopper Forever serves as the feature-length series finale of the romantic series of the same name, with Joe Locke and Kit Connor reprising their respective roles as Charlie and Nick. The majority of the main cast are returning for what will certainly be an emotional ending, although Olivia Colman had to be sadly recast due to her busy schedule, and Anna Maxwell Martin will take over as Sarah Nelson.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Newlyweds Tom Holland and Zendaya’s second collaboration this year (and Zendaya’s fourth of five projects released in 2026) is none other than the highly-anticipated fourth instalment in the MCU Spider-Man series. The film picks up right where No Way Home ended, with the world forgetting about Peter Parker’s existence, and adds Stranger Things icon Sadie Sink to the cast in a top-secret role. Zendaya’s already started telling fans to bring tissues, so expect plenty of tears.
