The $2 cleaning item from Aldi shoppers can’t get enough of: ‘Just as good as big supermarket brands’

Aldi Australia shoppers are raving about a $2 cleaning item they can’t get enough of, with some suggesting it works just as well as big supermarket brands.

The Power Force Toilet Cleaner Bleach Gel is a formula used for disinfecting, deodorising, whitening and freshening bathrooms.

What fans love about the cleaning gel is it requires no scrubbing.

Many revealed it’s one of the products they always pick up during their grocery shop, with one sharing: ‘Only $2 and does the trick. So cheap!’

‘I use it once a week. It keeps my toilets clean and with no signs of hard water stains. Equally as good as the White King brand from other supermarkets,’ another claimed.

‘I love this. Works a treat. I even use it on mouldy grout as its thick consistency allows it to stick around,’ one revealed.

‘Absolutely love it, better than the others and so much cheaper,’ another added.

‘Love it, squirt it and flush 30 minutes later. No scrubbing required and awesome price,’ one said.

Meanwhile, many said they couldn’t get enough of Aldi’s entire cleaning range.

‘I find that most Aldi cleaning products are fantastic – the active ingredients are pretty much the same as the brand name versions and so much cheaper,’ one said.

‘ALDI’s cleaning stuff is amazing,’ another shared.

Last month, shoppers revealed their all-time favourite items they believe are a great ‘dupe’ of popular big-brands – including a $3 snack that’s caught everyone by surprise.

Michael Jaimie, from Adelaide, shared a rave review about the $2.99 Skadoos Milkshake Biscuit Bars that are said to be an affordable alternative to the Twix Top, which retails for upwards of $8.99, and the ‘nostalgic’ M&M’s chocolate biscuit bar.

‘If you shop at Aldi, what is your favorite Aldi dupe that completely took you by surprise and now you’ve repurchased it a million times? For me… This is so fricking random, do not judge me, it’s these Skadoos,’ Michael said in a video.

He claimed the milkshake-flavoured product – a crispy biscuit topped with a creamy milk and cocoa filling – was ‘better’ than the ‘real version’.

‘I don’t know what the hell they put in this stuff, but it is so delicious,’ he said.

The snack takes him back to his childhood, where he remembers eating the iconic M&M’s chocolate biscuit bar that was once a lunchbox staple.

‘When I was a kid, they had these with M&M’s but (Aldi is) basically like vanilla, chocolate cream mix, on top of this shortbread consistency,’ Michael said.

‘The flavour is next level, and I can’t even tell you what made me pick a box of these up one day, but seriously, every time I go to Aldi now, I genuinely do not leave without a box of these.

‘Every time I eat them, I’m like God I wonder what everyone else gets from Aldi that they just weren’t expecting.’

The customer pointed out he wasn’t suggesting the snack was ‘healthy’ but he couldn’t get enough of it.

‘They’re suspiciously delicious, I swear,’ he said.
