Ahead of the 2025 Met Gala on Monday — AKA, the most important event of the year for fashion gays and girlies — the list of guests set to make an appearance has been leaked online.
Ranging from ‘90s RnB legends, superstar athletes, an abundance of pop stars, actors and more, this star-studded list might just be the glitziest one yet. And they better bloody dress to the theme!
Speaking of, this year’s theme is connected to the Met’s newest exhibition ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’, and will focus on Black fashion and style throughout history. Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour will all co-chair the event.

The gala also has a host committee, including the likes of André 3000, Spike Lee, Ayo Edebiri, Janelle Monáe, and more. And in case you were wondering about the guests set to make their red carpet appearances, here’s a cheeky lil’ peek of the full guest list.
Who is on the 2025 Met Gala guest list?
First off, we’re going to be graced with the presence of legends like Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, her daughter Tracee Ellis Ross and son Evan Ross, per PageSix.

Iconic singer-songwriter Lauryn Hill will also attend, after receiving an invite by co-chair Williams, as well as fellow performers Lorde, Bebe Rexha, Nick Jonas, Doechii, Shakira, Lizzo, Mary J. Blige, and Shaboozey.
Angela Bassett, Adam Scott, Walton Goggins, Caleb McLaughlin, and Demi Moore, and comedians Chris Rock and Jimmy Fallon are also set to attend and our Aussie queen and Succession alum Sarah Snook will also show off her finest duds at the event.
Other stars set to walk the carpet include models Ashley Graham and Amelia Gray, Lisa Rinna’s daughter.
ver on the sports and athletics world, folks like college basketballer Paige Bueckers and Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson.
Comedian and Saturday Night Live (SNL) star Ego Nwodim will be interviewing guests for Vogue Magazine.

When is the 2025 Met Gala?
The Gala, as tradition, will take place on the first Monday of May. This year, it’ll be on May 5 and will start at around 6:00pm, Eastern Standard Time, in New York City.
However for us Southern Hemisphere folks, we can expect to start seeing the fashion ensembles popping up on Tuesday, May 6, at around 8:00am.
Where can I watch the 2025 Met Gala?
Vogue Magazine will be livestreaming the event as soon as it starts.
