The committee supervising the Journalists Syndicate elections: Extending an additional hour for the lack of a quorum is not completed

& nbsp; The committee supervising the Journalists Syndicate elections decided today, Friday, to extend the registration process in the general assembly of the union’s midterm elections, for an additional hour; This is due to the lack of completion of the necessary legal quorum to start voting in the elections that are held on the position of the captain and 6 seats for the membership of the Syndicate Council.

& nbsp; Journalist.

& nbsp; Candidates, most notably the current captain, whose term ends, Khaled Al -Balashi, and the former captain Abdel Mohsen Salama, as for the membership level, 43 candidates compete to win the six available seats. A judicial committee shall supervise all the elections, and includes 32 consultants and 48 employees from the State Council, to ensure the progress of the electoral process with integrity and transparency. The state provides in support of the union members.
