"The common values ​​of religions towards a humanitarian charter" A symposium at the Coptic Cultural Center

The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center hosted, today, Sunday, a symposium entitled: & quot; common values ​​of religions … towards a humanitarian charter & quot; in the presence of a group of scholars, intellectuals and clerics, led by Dr. Salama Dawood, President of Al -Azhar University, and St. Jeremiah, the General Bishop and the head of the center, and was moderated by the writer Hani Labib, the editor -in -chief of the site. Humanity & quot; stressing that dialogue is a necessity to reach common areas of values, and that cohesion between the Egyptians is a necessity to face the challenges, warning that the spark of sedition is dangerous and the responsibility of its extinguishing is common to everyone each in its place At his part, St. Jeremiah said that the subject of the symposium & quot “concerns the whole world & quot; and presented in his speech a biography of Dr. Salama Dawood, explaining his origin and scientific formation, his appointment at Al -Azhar University, and his work previously at Umm Al -Qura University in Makkah, as well as his presidency of a number of scientific committees, most notably the committee to prepare the study plans for the department of rhetoric for students Higher, in addition to his supervision of many master’s and doctorate theses, his participation in international conferences, and its publication for dozens of scientific research.

emphasized the necessity of correcting false ideas, and introducing common values, saying: & quot; God is the gift of life, and he who gave man the right to freedom & quot; stressing that the freedom of a person ends at the limits of the freedom of others, indicating what was stated in the Holy Qur’an: {God commands And good} [النحل: 90].
