The Deputy Minister of Housing follows up on the position of the Sustainable Sanitation Services Program projects in Al Sharqiya
The Deputy Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Dr. Sayed Ismail, held a meeting today, Sunday, to follow up on the executive position of the projects of the second phase of the sustainable sanitation services program in rural areas in Sharkia Governorate.
During the meeting, the executive position of the Kafr Dabbous sanitation project contract, which is being implemented by the Arab Contractors Company in Sharkia Governorate, was presented, which consists of networks, lifting stations, and expulsion lines for 10 rural areas (villages and villages), where the challenges that arise were discussed. Facing the implementation of the project, implementation solutions were developed to overcome these challenges, and a timetable was set to ensure the rapid operation of the sewage treatment plant that is about to be completed.
The Deputy Minister stressed the importance of completing the project according to the specific time frames that were agreed upon by setting a weekly timetable to follow up on the implementation of these works from all parties.
It is noteworthy that the second phase of the program for sustainable sanitation services in rural areas, which is funded by the World Bank and the Asian Bank, targets the governorates of (Dakahlia – Al-Sharqiya). – Western Lake).
