The Egyptian Embassy in Canberra organizes an event to introduce Egyptian civilization and culture

The Egyptian Embassy in Canberra established An event to introduce Egyptian civilization and culture, in coordination with the Australian Capital Territory government. 

More than a thousand visitors of all age groups were received from the capital, “Canberra.” And other Australian cities, such as Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, have confirmed their keenness to arrange a visit to the embassy on this day since the event was announced more than a month ago.

The event included the establishment of a mini-museum at its headquarters that includes a group of reproductions of artifacts from the most important kings and queens of the Pharaonic dynasties, with a brief explanation of the history of each piece to introduce visitors to the history of ancient Egyptian civilization, in addition to… To review a number of paintings that highlight the journey of the Holy Family in Egypt and Islamic history, reflecting the richness and diversity of Egyptian history. During the event, the official promotional video for the Grand Egyptian Museum was also shown, where visitors expressed their admiration for the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The event included artistic segments in addition to a special corner for photography in pharaonic, folk and traditional clothing, and providing cultural and entertaining activities for children that allow them to write their names in hieroglyphs and color some drawings. Pharaonic.  The embassy was keen to provide an integrated Egyptian experience by offering various Egyptian foods, sweets and drinks throughout the day to all visitors.

In order to promote Egypt on a large scale, Ambassador Hani Nagy, the Egyptian Ambassador to Australia, received one of the pioneers of social networking sites in the Capital Territory of “Canberra”, who expressed her keenness to be present and cover the event by recording a short meeting with the Ambassador.
