The Egyptian Minister of Defense demands the forces to preserve the highest rates of efficiency and combat preparation

The Egyptian Minister of Defense briefed on the readiness of the combat special operations forces.
Arab Defense website – August 11, 2025: Lieutenant General Abdel -Maqsoud Saqr, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production in Egypt, met with the competencies of the Special Operations Forces from the parachute units and thunderbolt forces, as part of continuous rounds to assess the morale, combat readiness, and the readiness of operations.
The spokesperson for the armed forces, Brigadier Gharib Abdel Hafeez, stated that the meeting was also attended by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, leaders of the main military branches, and senior officers.
The meeting was opened with a speech delivered by the commander of the Thunderbolt Forces, Major General Abdelkader Amara Habib, in which he affirmed the commitment of the forces to protect the security and stability of Egypt.
He referred to the strength and unit of the armed forces and the support provided by the General Command to maintain operational efficiency.
The team, Saqr, conveyed the greetings of President Abdel -Fattah El -Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the warriors, praising their role in protecting the country and its sanctities. He stressed the importance of maintaining the utmost combat efficiency through continuous training, high morale, and preparing to defend Egypt’s resources and achievements.
Later, the minister had lunch with the soldiers and inspected an exhibition of the latest weapons and equipment used by the thunderbolt forces.
And demanded The Commander -in -Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Abdel Majid Saqr, the forces to “preserve the highest rates of efficiency and combat preparedness, and upgrade the skill and physical level through continuous training, while preserving the high morale, so that the army always remains the strong shield for the homeland.” This came during his meeting with a number of special forces fighters from the parachute and thunderbolt units, in the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa and a number of leaders of the military branches.
Yesterday, Sunday, the Egyptian military spokesman explained that this visit comes “as part of a series of meetings by the General Command of the Armed Forces to assess the moral situation, combat efficiency of the fighters, and the combat readiness of members of the armed forces, and their vital role in protecting Egyptian national security.”
The commander of the thunderbolt forces, Major General Abdel -Qader Amara Habib, stressed that “the men of the special forces work day and night to preserve the security and stability of the homeland,” stressing the great support provided by the General Command of the Armed Forces to its members, which qualifies them to perform their duties efficiently and competently within an integrated system.
During the visit, the team, Saqr, conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi to the fighters of the Special Forces, expressing “the appreciation of the General Command of the Armed Forces for the great efforts made by these heroes in protecting the country and preserving its sanctities.” He also praised “self -discipline and dedication to the members of the armed forces, and their keenness to do the precious and precious to preserve the capabilities of the Egyptian people.”

The Minister of Defense also met last week with a number of fighters of the Second Field Army, the Faculty of Reserve Officers, and the Institute of Community Officers, as part of the efforts of the General Command to communicate directly with the men of the armed forces and inform them of the latest developments related to Egyptian national security.
The military spokesman stated in a statement that the Minister of Defense affirmed in his speech, “the General Command is keen to develop the performance of the combat combat individual, to enable him to carry out the tasks assigned to him with high efficiency in various circumstances.” The Commander in Chief then demanded that “the fighters be a role model in self -discipline, and they reach the highest levels of combat readiness in order to preserve the security and stability of the country, whatever the sacrifices of this.”
