The Foreign Minister praises Mozambique’s support for the African and Arab candidate d. Khaled Al -Anani for the presidency of UNESCO

He met d. Bader Abdel -Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the permanent delegate of Mozambique to UNESCO in Paris today, Friday, during his visit to Paris to head the delegation of Egypt in the meetings of the UNESCO Executive Council and lead the efforts of the Egyptian nomination campaign for the position of Director General of UNESCO in the elections scheduled for October 6, 2025.

& nbsp; The Foreign Ministry supported Mozambique for the African and Arab candidate d. Khaled Al -Anani, praising Mozambique’s commitment to the decision of the African Union to support Dr. Khaled Al -Anani’s candidacy as a African candidate for the position, especially since this support reflects the spirit of African solidarity and the unity of the continental position behind the African candidate accredited by the African Union, and embodies a model for cooperation and integration within the African continent.
