The head of the Egyptian Future Agency and the Minister of Education continue efforts to develop technical education

Dr. Bahaa El-Ghannam, President of Egypt’s Future Agency for Sustainable Development, received Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, at the agency’s headquarters to discuss developments in aspects of joint cooperation in developing the technical education system, in particular agricultural and vocational secondary schools, within the framework of efforts to enhance cooperation between state institutions to achieve sustainable development goals.
During the meeting, Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education, reviewed the Ministry’s vision for modernizing technical education and upgrading its programs in line with the requirements of the labor market, He stressed that the Egypt Future Agency represents an advanced model for practical applications that can provide students with real field experiences within agricultural and industrial projects of a strategic nature, which represents an opportunity to build partnerships that contribute to the development of agricultural and vocational technical schools, and enabling students to train within advanced production environments.
For his part, Dr. Al-Ghannam stressed that the agency places the technical education file at the top of its priorities, based on a firm conviction that preparing qualified technical cadres is important. A pillar to ensure the sustainability of state projects, noting that the agency is working to open new paths of cooperation with national educational institutions to support the development of practical curricula and raise the efficiency of training within the agency’s production sites.
The meeting also discussed mechanisms for implementing joint programs aimed at integrating students into the real work system, and involving them in the agency’s projects according to the needs of technical specializations, in addition to studying the establishment of modern training centers within the scope of Egypt’s Future projects to enhance the technical capabilities of youth.
