The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qena Governorate, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Sadiq, announced the success of Qus Central Hospital in performing a delicate surgery on a three-month-old child suffering from a left inguinal hernia in the left testicle with adhesion to the tongue, which is considered one of the difficult and precise surgical operations that require extreme precision in implementation and are performed in specialized hospitals due to their accuracy and sensitivity of the case.
The implementation of the operation was supervised by a medical team, led by Dr. Atef Eid, a surgical consultant. Anesthesiologist Dr. Ayman Mahmoud, pediatrician Dr. Asma Mansour, anesthesia technician Taha Ayman, and Amani Muhammad, with the support of the surgical nursing team, Amal Othman, Samia Mahmoud, and nursery nurses Hala Al-Saghir, and Nadia Ibrahim.
This came under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Awaida, Director of Hospital Administration, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Nahhas, Director of Qus Hospital. The Central Bank.
A Qena Health statement stated that the child was admitted to the operating room, the operation was performed successfully, and he emerged from it in a stable condition, and is currently undergoing full medical care to ensure the stability of his health.
The Undersecretary affirmed, The directorate’s keenness to provide the highest levels of medical care within the governorate’s hospitals, praising the ability to deal with emergency and complex cases in a way that ensures patient safety and raises the efficiency of services.
