The Minister of Defense witnesses the implementation of the main phase of missile shooting for the Air Defense Forces
Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, witnessed the implementation of the main phase of missile shooting for members of the Air Defense Forces, in the presence of Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, commanders of the main branches, and a number of commanders of the Armed Forces.
The events began with a speech by Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Toudi, Commander of the Air Defense Forces, during which he pointed out the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces for the Air Defense Forces to possess the latest international systems of weapons and missiles, reconnaissance and warning means, and advanced command and control mechanisms, in a way that supports its ability to secure Egyptian airspace, confront all air threats, and carry out the tasks assigned to it in light of the continuous development of combat systems.
The stage included confronting hostile air attacks using multi-range missile systems, which were able to hit their targets with accuracy and high efficiency.
The previous stages witnessed the implementation of movements of forces and equipment day and night to reach the planned areas to prepare and equip to carry out shooting in realistic conditions that embody the work of confronting various air threats and hostilities and protecting vital targets.
At the end of the stage, Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and his pride in the efforts made by the Air Defense personnel to protect the nation and preserve its sanctities, praising the distinguished level reached by the participating elements in performing their tasks and the precision in hitting targets and dealing with them with high professionalism, directing salutes to the Air Defense personnel stationed in They continue to work day and night, exerting effort and sweat to protect Egypt’s skies and airspace.
