The Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with the leaders to follow up on the progress of work in the ministry
Dr. met. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, today, Tuesday, with the ministry’s middle-ranking leaders, within the framework of periodic follow-up of the progress of work within the various sectors of the ministry, and monitoring of developments in the political, consular and administrative files.
The meeting dealt with aspects of institutional work within the ministry, where the Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of the role played by the leadership in improving the efficiency of performance in the various sectors, stressing the necessity of raising the level of consular services provided to citizens, Developing human capabilities, and strengthening follow-up and evaluation mechanisms to ensure the highest levels of performance and discipline.
He also stressed the keenness to unleash energies within the ministry, encourage cadres at various functional levels to present their opinions and proposals, and consolidate the culture of teamwork as an essential foundation for developing institutional performance.
The meeting also witnessed a number of regional and international developments, as Minister Abdel-Ati stressed the importance of maintaining The constants of Egyptian foreign policy and the protection of national interests in various Arab, African and international circles, stressing the necessity of the various executive levels playing their role in defending Egyptian interests and continuing to explain the determinants of the Egyptian position in various regional and international forums.
