The Minister of Health is following up on the health condition of the medical convoy doctor who was injured by a stray gunshot
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, is directly following The health condition of the doctor (Abu Al-Hassan Rajab – 38 years old), who was injured by a stray bullet, inside his car while returning from participating in one of the medical convoys.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar directed that all forms of medical support be provided at the highest level, with an emphasis on his transfer to the Nasser Institute, for rehabilitation as soon as his condition stabilized.
The latest developments indicate that the breathing tube has been successfully removed, and the patient’s condition has become vitally stable, and he is breathing normally. Close follow-up is carried out under the supervision of an integrated medical team of surgical and intensive care specialists.
The Ministry of Health and Population confirms that all necessary support is provided to the doctor in appreciation of his efforts and sacrifice in serving the citizens, and continues to follow up on his condition until his complete recovery.
