The surprising physical feature that’s giving away your REAL age according to Hollywood surgeon

From Lindsay Lohan and Christina Aguilera to Kris Jenner and Demi Moore, it seems that more and more celebrities these days are turning back the clock with age-defying makeovers.

While a new wave of ‘undetectable’ facelifts have been credited for helping Hollywood stay young, there’s another common surgery procedure that’s now being used to fight Father Time.

‘Anti-aging nose jobs’ are the new trend in surgery, and it’s older patients that are turning to them in droves.

While nose jobs were once more common with younger people, patients in their 50s and 60s are now getting their noses done to complement their other procedures, like facelifts and Botox.

‘As we age our noses and ears continue to grow and droop with gravity,’ Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon Dr. Deepak Dugar told DailyMail.com.

‘If you’ve never had any rhinoplasty work previously done, sometimes you’ll notice your nose looks longer and droopier than your younger photos once you start to get into your 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond,’ he continued.

As a result, Dr. Dugar – who is famed for his ‘Scarless Nose Job’ procedure – has seen a ‘massive uptick’ in older patients seeking out rhinoplasty.

‘This generation of patients over 50 are more in tune with their anti-aging options as the facelift industry has catapulted the idea of natural facial rejuvenations,’ he said.

‘But this leads [patients] to then focus on the center of the face that can’t be addressed with a facelift, so then they inquire about rhinoplasty for their nose.’

While Dr. Dugar said that historically his smallest demographic for nose jobs was patients in the 50-plus age range, it’s now become his second largest demo after the 18-to-25 age range.

‘The 50-plus generation also has more expendable income and have most likely been desiring the procedure for most of their adult lives, leading to no confusion as to whether they want to get it done or not,’ he added.

Dr. Dugar stressed that the right nose can do wonders to help patients turn back the clock.

‘Typically, a more youthful nose will be one that is less droopy with a slight upward axis, giving a more cherubian and younger look to the nose and face,’ he explained.

‘And sometimes decreasing the overall size of the nose to make it look more contoured and defined helps make the face look younger and more youthful as well.’

While Dr. Dugar said that he ‘doesn’t recommend’ patients seek out rhinoplasty just because they’re getting a facelift, he does admit that many still do.

‘I do find many of them opt-in for this given their concern of having a larger nose in relation to their now smaller more lifted face,’ he said.

‘That being said, it always depends on anatomy as some patients naturally have a cute small nose or have had a previous rhinoplasty and do not need an another one just because they’re getting a facelift,’ he continued.

Dr. Dugar, whose famous celebrity patients include Sami Sheen and Mia Khalifa, said that many patients seek out different doctors for different procedures to ensure that they’re getting ‘the best of the best’, rather than having one surgeon perform all of their work.

‘I’m a big believer in finding super specialists if you’re able to travel and afford the best surgeons in the world,’ he said.

‘I work with many of the top facelift surgeons around the world who collaborate with me to perform facelifts on my patients either before or after I perform the rhinoplasty.’

For people who want to enhance their nose without going under the knife, Dr. Dugar said that there’s plenty of non-surgical options available.

‘Non-surgical rhinoplasty remains strongly based on hyaluronic acid (dissolvable and absorbable) fillers being used in the nose to contour the shape,’ he shared.

‘I strongly urge patients never to use permanent fillers in the nose as we have seen so many horrific medical cases in years past from abnormal healing as it’s impossible to remove [the fillers] without surgery,’ he warned.

‘I also believe that thread lifts do not work on the nose whatsoever and should not be used for any meaningful purpose,’ he continued.

‘Closed scarless rhinoplasty is what most of my patients opt-in for because it allows them to have the minimally invasive version of a full rhinoplasty and achieve all of the same benefits of a full rhinoplasty without taking on the risks of deconstructing the nose or any external cuts or scars.’

A number of celebrities have recently come clean about their age-defying facelifts, including Kris Jenner and Ricki Lake.

‘I think the whole world is an enamored right now with Kris Jenner‘s facelift,’ Dr. Dugar previously told DailyMail.com.

‘It was performed by my esteemed colleague Dr. Steve Levine, who did a phenomenal job rejuvenating her with such subtle finesse.’

A rep for Jenner, 69, confirmed that she enlisted the skills of Dr. Levine – dubbed the ‘facelift maestro’ – to achieve her ageless look.

Dr. Levine’s patient list reportedly includes ‘A-list actors, supermodels and more.’

Internet sleuths claim Levine has also performed recent facelifts on Brad Pitt, Lindsay Lohan and Demi Moore.

All three have been hailed for their stunningly youthful appearances in recent years, but none of the A-Listers have commented on allegations that they’ve been worked on with Levine’s scalpel.

Meanwhile Ricki Lake, 56, used ‘genius’ Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Allen Foulad for her face and neck lift.

The famed talk show host underwent the surgery after reaching her weight loss goal of 130 lbs in January.
