Trump is a matter of shooting down any Venezuelan plane approaching American ships

Trump warns Venezuela against shooting down its planes if the American ships threaten, amid an escalation of tension after an American blow against a Venezuelan “drug” and Maduro denies the accusations and confirms the readiness of the dialogue.

Arab Defense website – September 6, 2025: US President Donald Trump warned that if Venezuelan planes fly over American warships and “put us in a dangerous situation, they will be shot down.”

This warning came after Venezuela fell into military planes near an American ship off the coast of South America for the second time in two days, according to what Benefit It has US officials of the CBS News partner of the BBC.

These developments come after an American blow targeting what the Trump administration described as a “drug -loaded ship coming from Venezuela” and was run by a gang, killing 11 people.

As for the Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro, he denied the authenticity of the American allegations over his country, stressing that the differences between the two countries do not justify the “military conflict”. He added, “Venezuela has always been ready for dialogue and engaging in negotiations, but we demand respect.”

When Trump was asked in the Oval Office on Friday about the next step if the Venezuelan planes returned to fly over the American ships, he answered that Venezuela would be in a “dilemma”. He told his general standing next to him that he could do what he sees appropriate if the situation escalates.

Since his return to the White House in January, Trump has gradually has escalated his efforts to combat drug smuggling in Latin America.

For his part, Maduro accused the United States of seeking to “change the regime through military threat.” But Trump commented on these accusations by saying: “We are not talking about that,” noting at the same time what he described as “very strange elections” in Venezuela, where Maduro was sworn in for a third term in January after controversial elections.

Trump added that “drugs flow” from Venezuela to the United States, noting that members of the Tren De Aragua gang – classified as a terrorist organization in America – reside there.

In this context, the US military strengthened its presence in southern Caribbean, by deploying additional warships and thousands of soldiers and sailors to stop the drug flow. On Friday, the White House announced the sending of 10 F-35 fighters to Porto Rico.

On this military crowd in the Caribbean, Trump said: “I think we are wearing strength, we are strong in the face of drugs. We do not want drugs to kill our people.”

Trump is one of the most critical critics of Maduro years, and last August has doubled the financial reward for those who provide information that leads to his arrest to $ 50 million, accusing him of being “one of the largest drug dealers in the world.”

The Trump administration during its first term was directed to Maduro and other senior officials in Venezuela, which concerned with drugs -related terrorism, corruption and drug trafficking. Maduro has repeatedly rejected these American allegations.
