
President Donald Trump unveiled Charlie Kirk’s last request before the conservative activist’s assassination earlier this month.
During a speech honoring his late friend in Glendale, Arizona, Trump claimed that one of Kirk’s last requests was for the administration to ‘save Chicago.’ Kirk was born and raised in the suburbs surrounding Chicago.
In recent weeks, Trump has vowed to overrule the Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker by sending National Guard troops into Chicago for a sweeping crack down on crime.
‘We owe Charlie a profound and eternal debt of gratitude,’ Trump told memorial audience.
The president went on to praise Kirk for helping to promote ‘freedom and justice’ across the nation.
‘Charles James Kirk was heinously murdered by a radicalized leftist for speaking the truth that was in his heart,’ Trump said.
‘He was violently killed because he spoke for freedom and justice, for God, touched for reason and for common sense. He was assassinated because he lived bravely.’
‘He lived boldly and he argued brilliantly without apology. He did what was right for our nation.’

Kirk was Trump’s chief advocate among young voters during the 2024 election
Trump addressed Charlie’s parents and family by adding no ‘words can fill the void’ left behind after his death. The president, however, noted that ‘American loved Charlie Kirk.’
The president credited Kirk for uniting the MAGA and MAHA movements by introducing Trump to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Trump then revealed Kirk introduced him to JD Vance early into Ohio Republican’s political career.
Kirk, who was assassinated by a gunman on September 10th in Utah Valley, is widely credited for bolstering Trump’s support with young voters in the 2024 election.
The president described the moment he learned of Kirk’s death as a ‘surreal experience.’
‘The gun was pointed at him, but the bullet was aimed at every one of us.
‘Charlie is bigger than two weeks ago….think about it…he’s eternal. I just want to say we love him.’
‘He’s looking down today and saying, “That’s a great crowd.”‘
Since the official event entry time of 8:00 AM, a slew of Christian artists have performed a variety of worship songs.

Tens of thousands of conservatives and Christians gathered at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, to honor Kirk.

Sounds of Christian worship fill the air at the State Farm Stadium with less than thirty minutes before the official start of the memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk who was assented on September 10th.
The stadium is packed to the rafters, minus a few sections of seats right next to the stage.
Despite the scorching hot temperatures outside of the venue, inside the stadium is air-conditioned and the roof of the stadium is closed.
The floor is filled with various conservative political media and VIPS, as well as Turning Point staff and alumni who are seated on white plastic folding chairs. Press is also seated on the floor, with the TV risers situated in the middle of the VIP section. Print press are behind the VIP section.
Back in November, Trump won a staggering 43% of the vote among voters aged 18–29. Kirk, throughout the election, would go to college campuses to register college conservatives to vote.
Upon entering the memorial, Trump was met with cheers from tens of thousands of supporter in the stadium. In a sign of unity for the fallen conservative activist, billionaire Elon Musk joined the president at his booth where the pair shook hands.
Following Kirk’s death, Trump lowered the White House US flags to half-mast in honor of his friend.
Moreover, the president claimed in multiple media interviews that he believed Kirk could have succeeded him as president.
