A short while ago, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and his wife, Intisar El-Sisi, arrived at the headquarters of the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, keen to take a souvenir photo with a number of participants in the museum’s opening ceremony activities.

It is worth noting that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, sent a special message to attend the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum – Through his official page on the social networking site Facebook – Saying: " From the good land of Egypt, the cradle of human civilization, I welcome our guests, the great leaders and symbols of the world, to witness together the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which contains within its walls the treasures of ancient Egyptian civilization, and combines the genius of the ancient Egyptian with the creativity of the contemporary Egyptian, and adds to the world of culture and the arts a new landmark, around which everyone interested in civilization and knowledge will rally, and of which every believer in the unity of humanity and the values of peace, love, and cooperation among others will be proud. Peoples".

President Sisi continued: “I wish all the guests to enjoy their time in Egypt, between the past and the present.”

 

Opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, will witness this evening, Saturday, the first of November 2025, the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which represents an exceptional event in the history of human culture and civilization.

 

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that kings, queens, crown princes, princes, and members of the ruling families are scheduled to participate in this historic event; Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Luxembourg, Monaco, Japan and Thailand.

 

The presidents of Djibouti, Somalia, Palestine, Portugal, Armenia, Germany, Croatia, Cyprus, Albania, Bulgaria, Colombia, Equatorial Guinea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Eritrea, and the Knights of Malta will also participate, as well as the President of the Libyan Presidential Council and the President of the Leadership Council. The official spokesman added that the prime ministers of Greece, Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands, Kuwait, Lebanon, Luxembourg and Uganda will also participate in the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, in addition to a high-level ministerial and parliamentary presence from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Qatar, Morocco, Tunisia, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Slovakia, Austria, and the Kingdom. The official spokesman indicated that the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Chairman of the African Union Commission, and the High Representative of the Alliance of Civilizations on behalf of the Secretary-General of the United Nations will also participate from regional and international organizations, in addition to the participation of the President of the Arab Parliament, the President of JICA, and a number of heads and representatives of major international companies.
