Urgent.. Tourism reveals details of the invitation for the Grand Egyptian Museum’s celebration

As part of the final preparations to celebrate the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest cultural edifice dedicated to one civilization in the world, which is the ancient Egyptian civilization, the official invitation to attend the event was revealed, which was designed to be a commemorative piece of art that reflects the spirit of the ancient Egyptian civilization and its human value. The golden coffin of King Tutankhamun was chosen to be the focus of the invitation design, as it is one of the museum’s most prominent collections.
Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, indicated that the invitation came with a purely Egyptian design and implementation, under the technical supervision of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, to constitute not only an invitation, but a souvenir that embodies the beauty of the young king’s holdings inside the museum and documents a historical moment that will be passed down through generations over time.
He added Just as the museum will remain a cultural edifice bearing witness to the genius of the ancient Egyptian, the invitation came to be an extension of this value, in a piece that can be preserved and passed down for many years.
The design of the invitation went through several precise stages that reflect the sensitivity of the artistic work derived from Egypt’s cultural heritage. The process began from the sculpture department, where the artists embodied the decorations, symbols and hieroglyphic writings with the original accuracy of symmetry, then moved to the stages of reproduction and gilding. The coloring is done, before the coffin is wrapped from the inside with luxurious velvet fabric, so that it appears in its final form that befits the grandeur of the celebration and the status of the museum.
As the museum prepares to receive the world, this invitation carries a fundamental message that Egypt’s civilization is not a past that can be recounted, but rather a vibrant legacy that continues to inspire across generations.
