Dave Grohl is (foo) fighting to get his wife Jordyn Blum back (sorry) after he came clean about cheating on her and fathering a child with another woman.
According to Hollywood insiders, the 55-year-old frontman is doing everything he can to repair things with Jordyn, 48. The source claimed that Jordyn hasn’t felt like her husband’s “number one” in years and after all the drama, she has given him an ultimatum to actually make things right.
“He thinks the marriage is salvageable so why not try to fix it?” they told The Daily Mail.
“She gave him an ultimatum to figure it out and he wants to regain her trust. He has to focus on her, that will be his best chance at getting back to what they had. Dave is focusing on her needs.”
While curious fans have many theories why Dave chose to share the infidelity info with the world, the insider says it was a “last ditch effort” to save their 21-year marriage because he would “rather remain married”.
He probably should’ve thought about that before cheating, hey?
“Revealing [his affair and baby] in the first place was his last-ditch effort to save the marriage because Jordyn knew about it well before the world found out,” the insider explained.
Dave Grohl first announced the news of his extramarital affair and baby daughter on September 10 in a post on Instagram.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” he wrote in a text post.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved as we move forward together.”
While Dave did not state who the mother of the child was, his reps have dismissed the claims by another woman who insisted she was the baby mama in a viral Instagram post.
Dave and Jordyn have been married since 2003 and have three kids together: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
