The internet has been sent into overdrive after it appeared that Hailey Bieber unfollowed her husband, Justin Bieber, after a worrying livestream.
The “Love Yourself” singer went live on Instagram on Saturday night (local time), where he was seen rapping along to a new song. However, fans became worried for the star when they noticed that his eyes were drooping and he appeared to be swaying from side to side.
Shortly after, Justin reportedly deactivated his Instagram account. Within hours, his account was back.
However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that despite the comments, Justin was no longer in the Rhode Beauty founder’s following list.
Considering that the internet collectively has their relationship under a microscope, it wasn’t long before this news exploded with people speculating that this was the end of their relationship.
It’s worth noting that when someone deactivates their account, their Instagram account will disappear from people’s following lists.
So, there’s a high chance the rumour started when Justin’s account was still deactivated.
In the comments on a TikTok video about the drama, Hailey set the record straight.
“It’s a glitch. Don’t unfollow him. Hope this helps!” she wrote in the comments.
This isn’t the first time Hailey and Justin have found themselves in the middle of Instagram following drama.
Back in January, fans noticed that Justin wasn’t following Hailey. As the reports sent the internet wild, the “Sorry” singer took to his Instagram Stories to clarify what went down.
“Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he wrote.
“Shit is getting suss out here.”
