Wife of Kansas City Chiefs coach shot at home and hospitalized with serious injuries

The wife of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy has been shot in their home in Virginia.

Sources tell ESPN that Mia Bieniemy has been hospitalized after the shooting took place at their house in Loudoun County.

Police told the outlet that a person was being treated for ‘serious injuries’ but did not disclose their identity.

Eric Bieniemy was in Missouri with the Chiefs as training camp has begun. The team was holding camp on the campus at Missouri Western State University in the town of St. Joseph.
