Woman in her 20s found dead inside home near Brisbane – as a man is arrested
A man has been arrested after a young woman was found dead at a home south of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to a Slacks Creek property near Logan at about 12.30am on Wednesday.
A woman aged in her 20s was found unresponsive inside the home and could not be revived.
A Slacks Creek man, 37, was arrested at the scene and is assisting detectives with their inquiries.
No charges have yet been laid.
‘The man and woman were known to each other however we are unable to comment further on their relationship at this stage,’ a Queensland Police statement read.
The home has been declared a crime scene as a homicide investigation was launched.
There is no ongoing threat to the community.
