England enter Wednesday’s contest against DR Congo wary of following the examples set by fellow World Cup giants.

Netherlands and Germany have both been sent home in dramatic fashion, falling victim to Morocco and Paraguay respectively. DR Congo’s battling performance against Portugal will also serve as a warning to Thomas Tuchel to take their opponents seriously.
