Zendaya Fuels Sydney Sweeney & Sam Levinson Feud Rumours With Frosty Exchanges At Euphoria Premiere

Fans are convinced Zendaya is beefing with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and co-star Sydney Sweeney after a couple of frosty-looking exchanges at the show’s recent premiere.

The rumour mill was sent into overdrive on Thursday when two clips of Zendaya interacting with Levinson and Sweeney at Euphoria’s season three red carpet event in LA went viral on social media.

In one clip, the actress is seen briefly hugging Levinson in front of the cameras, before being pulled away by her team despite what looks like him insisting they take a photo together.

In the other clip from the premiere, Zendaya appears to glide right by Sweeney and fellow Euphoria star Maude Apatow without greeting the pair.

Only adding to the supposed drama were reports that Zendaya stayed only briefly at the premiere before leaving after around 10 minutes.

Naturally, the seemingly chilly interactions fuelled pre-existing rumours of a feud between Zendaya and Sweeney that kicked off earlier this year, when reports circulated that Sweeney had flirted with Tom Holland, Zendaya’s partner, while he visited the Euphoria set.

Those whispers became roars after the Euphoria premiere, with an insider telling The Sun that it’s “an open secret that Sydney had the hots for Tom and was flirty with him”.

Neither star has commented on the rumours — so it’s all just hearsay at this point.

As for Levinson, he too has been at the centre of Zendaya beef rumours since 2022, with the pair supposedly quarrelling over the long delay between seasons two and three of Euphoria.

The story goes that Zendaya and Levinson blamed each other for the four-year gap, with Zendaya supposedly annoyed by Levinson prioritising his work on The Idol and Levinson blaming her busy filming schedule.

Zendaya hit back at those reports in 2024, telling Vanity Fair the show was “not delayed because of my schedule” and that she was “just waiting” for the scripts.

While it’s all a bit murky, Zendaya’s reported feuds with Levinson and Sweeney are just a few of the many apparent beefs or scandals that have plagued Euphoria off-screen throughout its tumultuous run.

All the speculation comes ahead of Euphoria’s season three release, hitting Aussie screens on Monday, April 13. Early reviews were brutal, proving again that if nothing else, the ever-buzzy and star-studded show at least gets people talking.
