Peter Thomas Roth may be famous for his eponymous skincare line – but it’s his 103-year-old mother, Carole, who has become an unexpected viral star in recent years thanks to her youthful complexion and glamorous sense of style.
Now, the 103-year-old influencer has shared her secrets to a long and healthy life and broke down the skincare routine that has helped her achieve her stunning visage exclusively with the Daily Mail.
According to the social media sensation, eating right, exercising, ‘living in good company’ and having a positive attitude has kept her young.
‘I’m always happy, if I get in a bad mood I go into the corner and don’t talk to anyone [for an hour] and then it passes by,’ she shared.
When it comes to her diet, she joked that she ‘eats everything,’ but she particularly loves carbs like bread and pasta.
‘When someone comes to the house and asks if they should bring flowers or chocolate I say no, bring bread,’ Peter dished.
Her other favorite foods include ice cream, soup, fruit, cheese and steak tartar. She’s also a huge fan of vodka, particularly, lychee martinis.
‘She likes vodka,’ Peter shared, as Carole interjected with a grin: ‘Of course I like vodka.’

‘The restaurant has to have a lychee martini on the menu [for her to go],’ Peter joked.
Carole, a Hungarian immigrant and Holocaust survivor, explained that she meets with a trainer three times a week and exercises at home in her apartment or in the pool, and according to Peter, staying active has had an immense impact on her health.
‘When you [get older], you naturally don’t move a lot. And if you don’t move a lot you don’t eat a lot, and if you don’t eat a lot, you start to decline,’ he explained.
‘We were having this issue where she wasn’t hungry or thirsty, we would have to give her a saline IV three times a year
‘So one of her doctors said she needs a trainer. It’s important when you reach that age, you have to move to keep an appetite.’
As for how she keeps her skin looking so young, she explained that she uses Peter’s skincare products every night before going to bed.
‘I use his products from my feet to my head,’ she dished, adding that her favorites include the anti-aging cleanser, the water drench moisturizer and the retinol products.
Carole’s TikTok stardom began after Peter’s son Ryan Roth shared a clip of himself shopping with Carole on the video streaming platform back in 2024.
Suddenly, she was transformed into an online sensation as millions fell in love with her spunky personality and ageless looks.

‘I’m 103 years old and I don’t feel old,’ she told the Daily Mail
The video received more than one million views and thousands of comments from people who praised her fashion choices and begged for beauty tips.
Carole, who arrived at the Daily Mail’s studio wearing a chic Chanel jacket, a ‘sexy’ Remi Brook shirt that hung off her shoulder, showing a sparkly tank top underneath and glittering Louboutin sneakers, told the Daily Mail that her biggest fashion advice is to focus less on color or pattern and more on the fit.
‘Wear what fits you nicely,’ she recommended.
Since her first viral clip, she’s been featured in many of Ryan’s videos, and has become well known across the globe.
Carole told the Daily Mail that while the attention was certainly unexpected, it’s been incredibly uplifting.
She revealed that fans often approach her on the street, which ‘makes her feel so good.’
‘Yesterday I was in a restaurant and people came over to shake my hand. It makes me feel important,’ she said.
‘It makes you feel good when people like you. The first time, I came out from my building and four or five kids ran over and said hi. It made me feel good.’
Carole has had quite the impressive life; she grew up extremely poor but insisted that she had a ‘very happy childhood.’

When she was in her early 20s, the Germans took over her town and forced her and her family to live in a ghetto.
‘The Jewish people had to live in certain streets,’ she recalled. ‘You had until 6 o’clock at night to go out and then they’d close you in [at night].’
She was then packed into a cattle car to go to Auschwitz with roughly 100 other people, which had no bathroom or windows.
‘It was terrible, most of the people died in the car. People were trading jewelry just to get a cup of water. Most people died because of the thirst,’ she shared.
Thankfully, the Americans bombed the train tracks before it got to Auschwitz and she managed to escape.
She and many of the survivors were then taken to a town near Vienna where they were forced to work long hours in a brick factory in exchange for a few bites of food.

Despite being 103 years old, Carole usually doesn’t go to bed until around 3am. She spends her evenings dining at glamorous NYC hotspots, sipping on lychee martinis and eating steak tartar
She lived there for nine months, during which, weight dropped to a mere 78lbs.
She recalled having to wash herself in a freezing lake and only had a hole for a toilet.
‘But we were lucky. At the factory next to us, which made bread, everybody who worked there was shot right before they were freed,’ she said.
Eventually, the Russians came and rescued them from the factory. She then traveled all the way from Vienna to Budapest on foot, walking over 100 miles.
Once she got back home to Hungary, however, she discovered that the country had become communist so she left to live in a Displaced Persons camp in Germany.
She stayed there for three years before she headed to the States.
‘It was the happiest day of my life when I saw the Statue of Liberty,’ she gushed.
