NATO Secretary General plans to change job

 

The Norwegian government website reported that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has submitted an application to participate in the competition to choose a new head of the Norwegian Central Bank.

And 22 people applied for the position of the new head of the Central Bank. “The deadline for submission of applications expired on December 9,” the report said.

Among the applicants, 62-year-old Stoltenberg was also presented.

Jens Stoltenberg served as Prime Minister of Norway from 2000 to 2001 and from 2005 to 2013. On October 1, 2014, he became head of NATO. His term in this position was renewed twice, and he remains in the position of Secretary General of the Alliance until September 30, 2022.
