Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE: Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is a gateway to spreading the culture of peace among peoples
The Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE, Sherif Mahmoud Issa, confirmed that the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is a bridge between civilizations and an international gathering where cultures converge.
Issa said, in statements to the agency Emirates News “WAM” said that the exhibition, which was launched today, Monday, has become a gateway to spreading the culture of peace among peoples through communication with others, building bridges, and searching for what unites us and does not divide us.
He expressed his appreciation to the UAE for choosing Egypt as a guest. He honored the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair in its 33rd session and chose the international writer Naguib Mahfouz as Personality of the Year, which is the culmination of the distinguished cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
He pointed out that the Egyptian pavilion at the exhibition will witness the organization of many diverse cultural events and seminars. And discussion panels and intellectual dialogues that reflect the wealth and diversity of knowledge of Egypt.
