The Russian Defense Ministry plans to strengthen the Black Sea Fleet

 

The Russian Defense Ministry intends to strengthen the Black Sea Fleet by the new year by transferring four ships to it, a source in the administration told Izvestia newspaper.

According to him, the Black Sea Fleet will include the logistics support ship Vsevolod Bobrov and the minesweeper Georgy Kurbatov – they will be transported from the Baltic Sea.

From there, the submarine of Project 636.3 Krasnodar is sent to the Black Sea Fleet. Which underwent reforms after participating in an operation in Syria. In addition, this submarine took part in the main naval parade in St. Petersburg in the summer of 2021.

The ship “Rescuer Vasily Bekh” will assist her during the transition to the fleet.
