Egypt tightens entry rules for unvaccinated tourists

Egypt has tightened entry rules for foreign tourists who are not vaccinated with the Corona virus

According to the Egyptian Ministry of Health, foreigners arriving in the country must either present a certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19, an original certificate with a PCR test and QR code, or with a test taken no later than 24 hours prior to arrival.

It has been specified that a tourist must take a PCR test no later than 72 hours before his arrival in Egypt. The certificate bearing the seal of the approved laboratory must indicate the exact time and date of the test, the QR code, and the test method.
The document must be submitted in English or Arabic.

In addition, all unvaccinated passengers aged 12 or over must take a PCR test at the airport.

Russian tourists who have been vaccinated with Sputnik V can enter Egypt 14 days after receiving the second dose of the vaccine.
