Coordination with "Meteorology" To determine the date of the historic Delma Race
Al Dhafra, April 29 / WAM / The organizing committee of the Delma Historic Race for 60-foot sailing bearings announced the completion of all inspection procedures for the bearings participating in the race.
The committee also confirmed the continuation of the follow-up and coordination process with the National Meteorological Center regarding the weather condition to determine an ideal date for the start of the race in the coming days.
It is noteworthy that the Delma Historical Race for 60-foot sailboats is the main and most prominent stop within the activities of the “Delma Historical Race Festival,” which was launched last Friday under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, and organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and the Abu Dhabi Club. For marine sports, its activities will continue until next May 5 on Dalma Island in the Al Dhafra region in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
