Britain plans to evacuate its forces from Ukraine

Britain is preparing to evacuate its forces from Ukraine if the situation worsens, the Daily Express reports.

The newspaper notes that the leaders of the British armed forces have already drawn up contingency plans.

“The military command will have to organize a comprehensive ‘review’ of the orbital (British training mission) to ensure the further ‘safe withdrawal of all UK personnel from Ukrainian territory’,” she said.

The newspaper claims that most of the British forces in Ukraine are located in the city of Yavoriv in the Lviv region, and that a small group of headquarters officers are in Kiev.

Sources claim that in the event of an escalation of the conflict, the British army will move towards the border with Poland.

The evacuation order will be issued by the head of the British Joint Operations Directorate at the headquarters of Colonel General Charlie Strickland. His subordinates will soon be “ready”, as well as monitor the “atmosphere” and the situation.
As the newspaper notes, Strickland will receive information about the situation twice a day.

It is noteworthy that more than 100 British soldiers are training Ukrainian forces.
