Check your refrigerators! More than 85,000 pounds of ready-to-eat sliced Stockmeyer prosciutto ham are being recalled because they were not properly inspected.
The product was sold in stores in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington state.
So far, no adverse reactions have been reported, but the USDA says it should not be eaten.
The ready-to-use sliced prosciutto ham item was produced on various dates from September 25, 2023 to March 6, 2024.
Consumers are advised to discard it or return it to the place of purchase.
