Kuwait, April 28 / WAM / The first day of the Emirati Companies Exhibition and Forum, which will be held over the 28th and 29th of April, began today in the sisterly State of Kuwait, in the presence of a number of leaders and officials of the economic sector in the two countries, and with the participation of 20 of the largest Emirati companies in the government sectors. The exhibition and forum were opened by His Excellency Dr. Matar Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to Kuwait, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, His Excellency Abdullah Al-Joaan, Minister of Trade and Industry in Kuwait, His Excellency Abdullah Al Mazrouei, President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the UAE, and in the presence of a number of economic figures in his country. He stressed the importance of the exhibition, which aims to introduce Emirati companies to the investment environment, legislative systems and facilities provided in Kuwait by creating a dialogue with relevant government agencies such as the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Investment Promotion Authority, the Public Authority for Manpower, the Public Authority for Industry, and the Public-Private Partnership Authority, as well as displaying capabilities and expertise. His Excellency stressed the keenness of the UAE Embassy to communicate and meet with investors and manufacturers in the two brotherly countries to stimulate this cooperation to create job opportunities and increase the volume of exports between the two brotherly countries and to work to overcome any challenges they may face.
