Regina King’s only son commits suicide two days after his 26th birthday

Ian Alexander Jr., son of American actress Regina King, has died at the age of 26.

“Our family asks for our loss to be respected,” Regina King said.
“Our family was so devastated by the loss of Ian. He has been a shining light in our lives.”

The exact cause of the death of King’s son is unknown, but according to preliminary information, he committed suicide.

Ian was an artist and DJ, who three days ago posted a message on his Instagram about the upcoming Bardo concert.

Regina King has confirmed that they have always been close to their son. So, in 2017, in an interview with The View magazine, the actress shared that she and her son both have the same tattoo that they chose without saying a word.
