Head of Palestinian Prisoner Affairs: One thousand prisoners were injured in the occupation prisons as a result of violations
The head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Authority, Qaddoura Fares, confirmed that the conditions of Palestinian prisoners under the Israeli occupation are tragic, as about a thousand Palestinian prisoners were injured in the occupation prisons as a result of the violations they are exposed to.
< p>Qaddoura said – in an intervention to (Cairo) News Channel today, Saturday – “Israel must know that it is not an exceptional state and does not enjoy immunity that grants it the right to attack the Palestinian people.” Pointing out that Israel is still talking about the continuation of its aggression and the invasion of Rafah. The Palestinian Authority, with all its humanitarian, political and security implications, more destruction, more casualties, targeting of civilians, and prolonging the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
He added that the priority at the present time is to stop the war and aggression against the Palestinian people… stressing that The Palestinian people have the will to resume life, restore themselves, and rehabilitate their institutions, but it should not only be a Palestinian responsibility, but rather a Palestinian, Arab, Islamic, and international responsibility.
Qaddoura indicated that there is talk of a deal according to which the aggression against the Palestinian people will be stopped in Gaza Strip, a ceasefire, and the release of many prisoners.
