The arrival of the first flights for beneficiaries of the initiative "Mecca Road" From Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia

Today, Thursday, the first flights for beneficiaries of the “Mecca Road” initiative arrived. From the Republic of Bangladesh, to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah Governorate, arriving to Saudi Arabia via the Initiative Lounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that they were received by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Muhammad Jawid Patwari, the Commander of the Hajj Passport Forces, Major General Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Murabba’, the CEO of the Jeddah Airports Company, Engineer Mazen bin Muhammad Jawhar, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Hajj Affairs, Dr. Ayed Al-Ghuwaynem.

 

< p>It is noteworthy that the Mecca Road Initiative is one of the initiatives of the Saudi Ministry of Interior as part of the Guests of God Service Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030, and aims to complete the procedures for the Guests of God from their countries, starting with issuing the visa electronically and taking vital characteristics, and passing through completing passport procedures at Balad airport. Departure after verifying the availability of health requirements, in addition to coding and sorting the luggage according to the transportation and housing arrangements in the Kingdom. Upon their arrival, they move directly to buses to take them to their residences in Mecca and Medina using designated routes, while the service agencies are responsible for delivering their luggage to their residences.
