Bild: Germany plans to evacuate German diplomats from Ukraine

– The German Foreign Ministry is preparing a plan to evacuate its staff from Ukraine if the situation in the region worsens, Bild newspaper reported.

The representative of the ministry said: “We are closely monitoring how the security situation of the personnel of our foreign missions in Ukraine is developing and we are in close exchange of information – with our partners in the European Union and at the international level on this issue.”

Meanwhile, other countries have already begun evacuating their diplomats from Ukraine. In particular, the US State Department allowed the start of the export of US diplomats from the country.

After that, Britain also began evacuating its diplomats from Kiev.
