A black woman for the US Supreme Court

A black woman for the US Supreme Court….

US President Joe Biden has promised to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court.

“As I studied the candidates’ biographies, I understood one thing: The person I would put forward will be of unique experience, credibility, and honesty, and she will be the first black woman in history to be nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court,” Biden said.

Potential candidates include Assistant Justice Braira Kitangi Brown-Jackson and Supreme Court Officer Lindra Krueger. Another potential candidate is South Carolina Federal District Court Judge Michael Childs.

In total, the US Supreme Court is made up of nine justices who make the final decision on a number of legislative decisions. At the same time, there are ways of overriding the decision of the Supreme Court – in particular, through the government legislative assembly.
