"Sharjah Electricity" It provides its services to the Hafiya Lake project in Kalba for about 39 million dirhams

Sharjah, May 20 / WAM / The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority completed a pumping station and extension of water lines at a cost of 27 million dirhams to supply water to the Al Hafiya Lake project.

Water lines with a diameter of 400 mm were extended over a length of 4 km, made of carbon steel with high specifications, and a ground water tank with a capacity of half a million gallons was created, in addition to five pumps of high quality and efficiency, where an amount of water of about 40,604,921 (IG) was pumped, equivalent to 184,594 (m³). This is within the framework of the Authority’s efforts to contribute to this cultural project as one of the infrastructure development projects and the development of urban communities in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Engineer Yousef Muhammad Abdullah Al Hammadi, Acting Director of Kalba Administration, said that the electrical network was established using high-voltage cables with a length of 3,750 meters and low-voltage cables with a length of 450 metres. Two 11 KV stations and two electricity distribution boxes were installed at a total cost of 944 thousand and 650 dirhams.

He pointed out that 123 lighting poles with searchlights were installed, a low-voltage cable belonging to the lighting poles was extended to a length of 6,500 meters, 4 lighting control boxes were installed, and hidden lighting was installed along the lake with a length of 3,100 meters at a cost amounting to a total value of 10,200,000 dirhams.
